The exchange of Taekwon-Do between South and North Korea has taken large steps toward unifying Taekwon-Do of South and North Korea. According to a statement produced by the seventh inter-Korean cabinet meeting, South Korea sent a taekwondo delegation with the leader who is the president of the South Korea Taekwondo Association. At 11 O’clock 14 September, the delegation took a charter plane toward Pyongyang; now the delegation already arrived Pyongyang and entered the Koryo Hotel.

Since December 2000, the fourth inter-Korean cabinet meeting produced a first statement about the exchange of Taekwon-Do between South and North Korea, finally the result has been achieved through the efforts of one year and nine months. South and North will discuss a schedule for the dates and times of the performances, visiting places and so on. Both also discuss a schedule of a North Korea Taekwon-Do delegation for visiting Seoul.

The South Korea taekwondo delegation is formed by 35 members of taekwondo, the officials and the reports all in 50 people. The delegation will show the performances including Patterns, Sparring and Power. At the afternoon 01 O’clock 17 September, the delegation will return to Seoul.
