The Third China ITF National Championship and 2009 International Friendship Tournament was successfully held in Beijing, China on August 23, 2009.
Due to H1N1 influenza outbreak and Chinese government’s aggressive measures，there were difficulties in holding this event. However, with the overwhelming supports from Chinese and foreign country’s practitioners, we have overcome all the difficulties to hold the event, and there were more than 150 Taekwon-Do practitioners who came from Chinese provinces，Hong Kong, Japan, Kazakhstan and Nepal came to enter the tournament.
The International Friendship Tournament, which has been held three times during the last four years，has become the biggest tournament in China, and many countries have participated in the events and we have accumulated a rich experience in holding international tournaments. The whole event was in order，well-organized，and all of the participants has received the warmest welcome and hospitality from the organizing committee, Chinese practitioners, and spectators. The participants from abroad wished to come to China again and we promised that we will try our best to welcome them again in the near future.
