The 2005 International
Taekwon-Do Instructor Course in China was a great success with
the supports from the ITF.
Master Hwang Jin, who is the pioneer of ITF Japan, the Senior
Executive Member of ITF, the Vice President of Asia ITF and Chairman
of ITF Japan, and Mr. Seo Mancheol, the secretary general of ITF
Japan were invited by China International Taekwon-Do Federation
(China ITF) to conduct 2005 International Taekwon-Do Instructor
Course in Beijing, China on October 3rd and 4th, 2005. Hundreds
of TAEKWON-DO lovers from major cities such as Beijing, Shanhai,
WuHan, XiAn, NinBo, ChangSha, TiAn, ChangZho … etc. participated
this event.
During the opening, Master Hwang Jin and Mr. Seo Mancheol were
surprised by the brilliant exhibitions of ITF skills demonstrated
by Chinese Taekwon-Do black belts. And then, Master Hwang Jin
made a speech which encouraged Chinese TAEKWON-DO lovers to keep
practicing and develop Taekwon-Do in China. At last, Mr. Li Guangsong,
representing China ITF, gave Master Hwang Jin and Mr. Seo Mancheol
written plate to each as a present for appreciation.
The course was separated to senior class for black belts and
junior class for color belts. Both classes had substantial numbers
of participant. Both practitioner and instructor were conscientious
during the two days course. Master Hwang Jin and Mr. Seo Mancheol
reveal the true significance of ITF with their consummate ITF
skills to the students even although they cannot speak Chinese.
During the senior class for black belts, Master Hwang Jin and
Mr. Seo Mancheol personally guided every black-belt student and
corrected their mistakes, which benefited all the practitioner.
On the closing ceremony, Master Hwang Jin gave five students
who passed the Instructor Course Grade test 1st DAN Certificate
in person. He also gave every student who joined the classes a
course certificate with Secretary General: Mr. Chao Ren and Mr.
Seo Mancheol. At last, everyone took a picture altogether as an
ending.
The great success of this instructor course stands for the great
supports and cares to China ITF from ITF. We especially thank
Master Hwang Jin for conducting “2005 International Taekwon-Do
Instructor Course” in schedule with his injured leg. Master
Hwang Jin displayed the traditional ITF spirit created by ITF
Founder Gen. Choi Hong Hi with his practical behavior. For every
Taekwon-Do practitioners, Master Hwang Jin and Mr. Seo Mancheol’s
efforts toward their respectable works are significant and worth
studying.
