China International Taekwon-Do Federation has successfully held three International Taekwon-Do seminars continuously, close to the Chinese Taekwon-Do lovers to enjoy the flavor of the World Taekwon-Do predecessors, and created valuable opportunities. Through several international seminars, we have seen not only the superb technical predecessors, but also their love and dedication of Taekwon-Do, and meticulous teaching attitude. On 21 May 2006, Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha and Chinese Taekwon-Do lovers gathered together to learn Taekwon-Do technical skills and had a great time. This is a rare event, the pride of the Chinese Taekwon-Do lovers. However, people cannot help but ask why some people ignored the vital interests of Taekwon-Do lovers everywhere by spreading rumors with all means to undermine a popular seminar? The fact is that a few foreign instructors, who are individually operating Dojangs in China, are taking the advantages of the ITF headquarters which is flooded by their people, by using some domestic individuals coveting fame followers, used every possible means to prevent Grandmaster Rhee to teach in normal activities of the China ITF. They forced Grandmaster Rhee to join their seminar at exactly the same day as our seminar.Grandmaster Rhee, without question, withstood the pressure from the ITF headquarters and kept his promise successfully by organizing the seminar according to the original schedule. Justice will not be overwhelmed by evil. These foreign instructors lifting rocks only dropped them on their own feet.

Shortly after the Founder of Taekwon-Do, Gen. Choi Hong Hi, the first president of the International Taekwon-Do Federation in 2002 left us, the foreign instructors have been brazenly colluding with staffs of the ITF headquarters and unscrupulously suppressing the normal work of China ITF. Its purpose is to include China ITF to their own hands. To achieve the hidden goals of these foreign instructors and staffs, China ITF's official website has been deleted from ITF website arbitrarily, and opened Beijing ITF Association (Now it is called China ITF Taekwon-Do League with unidentified people) for the so-called alternative. Such violations nakedly exposed abuses of power by their low quality and pride in the work style of Taekwon-Do (Please refer to the open letter which has been sent to ITF headquarters, it was not open to public before so ITF could solved the problem honorably). In fact, this so-called foreign instructors’s association is made up of random name and their followers. Facts have fully demonstrated that their attempts are futile. China ITF is the Chinese regional headquarters for the International Taekwon-Do Federation. Gen. Choi Hong Hi, the Founder of the International Taekwon-Do Federation, recognized the legitimate organization in written form in 1999. More importantly, China ITF is formed by native born Chinese instructors to serve Chinese Taekwon-Do lovers as a formal organization. China ITF, with the support of the vast majority of the Chinese Taekwon-Do lovers and lovers of the World Taekwon-Do, has been fully recognized. Those Grandmaster and Masters who have came to China conducting seminars for the Taekwon-Do lovers of China ITF are a strong proof.

Over the years, the foreign instructors use their people in the ITF headquarters to interfere in the internal relations and the normal control of the Chinese instructors, this is one of the main reasons that Taekwon-Do has been slow in development so far in China. Since the foreign instructors throw their weight about bullying native instructors and staffs of the ITF headquarters act in dereliction of duty, some 100 Chinese instructors educated by Gen. Choi Hong Hi over the past 20 years could not effectively operate their Dojiangs, where most of Chinese instructors with no alternative eventually had to give up Taekwon-Do, China ITF has suffered a tremendous loss. Fortunately, China ITF, in the course of the hardships and frustrations, has withstood the test of maturity. She has experienced the cold weather but withstood it thanks to the outstanding team of Chinese instructors with superb techniques and rich experience in teaching. Along with the constant development of China's economy and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the Chinese people have gained more self-confidence of their own identity. China International Taekwon-Do Federation will be in full support of the Chinese Taekwon-Do lovers. Taekwon-Do belongs to the world we believe in. Taekwon-Do has huge room for development in China. We have the confidence and capability to meet the new challenges and difficulties and make greater achievements.

Here, China International Taekwon-Do Federation and Chinese Taekwon-Do lovers again called on the International Taekwon-Do Federation to seriously rectify the ITF headquarters, to correct the style of the work and correct the mistakes they have committed, and to maintain the desired image of the ITF. We are seriously warning to those foreign instructors do not pose Chinese people as an enemy. There is the only way to observe ITF regulations and abide by Chinese laws to operate Dojiangs legally in China. We also sincerely advise the followers of the foreign instructors, do not just do for a moment of fame. We should maintain the dignity of the Chinese people to serve the development of China's Taekwon-Do. Our door is open, you are most welcome to return and reunite. China ITF had spent a lot of human and financial resources to help the foreign instructors for developing Taekwon-Do in China. China's reform and open policies have provided you with an unlimited market and living spaces. You should be grateful to the Chinese people’s broadmindedness. Please do not repeat the role of lifting rocks again.
